Our mobile forge can be used for demonstrations or classes with up to ten people at a time. Our minimum requirements are an outdoor site no smaller than 6m x 6m and access to electricity and water. In the past our forge has visited Universities, Festivals, Stately Homes and City Farms! To make an enquiry please email ucf.office@gmail.com

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN FOR AN ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AT UCF

We are thrilled to be able to announce a call out for two artists in residence at UCF. The residency will take place over ten days in September 2022.
​
We are looking to host two visual artists with little or no prior experience of working with metal. During the ten days the artists can expect lessons in blacksmithing, coppersmithing and other metalwork techniques and time to experiment with the skills they have learnt. There is no requirement for a specific artistic outcome. The artists will receive a small stipend.

This opportunity is possible because of support from The Radcliffe Trust.
